Independent Harper Polling survey shows Letlow dominating among Trump Republicans and consolidating GOP support statewide
BATON ROUGE, LA — A new independent poll conducted by Harper Polling shows Congresswoman Julia Letlow with a commanding lead in Louisiana’s Republican U.S. Senate runoff election, further cementing her position as the clear favorite in the race.
The survey shows Letlow leading John Fleming 52% to 35% on the Republican primary runoff ballot. When undecided voters are removed, Letlow’s advantage grows to 58% to 42%.

The poll also shows Letlow continuing to consolidate support from Republican voters across Louisiana, including among key conservative voting blocs. Among Trump Republicans, Letlow leads Fleming 58% to 34%. Among Christian conservatives, Letlow leads 53% to 35%.
The survey further highlights the strength of Letlow’s support among President Trump’s base. Among voters who approve of President Trump, Letlow leads Fleming by a decisive 56% to 32%.
“This poll confirms what we are seeing every single day across Louisiana: Republicans are uniting behind Julia Letlow because they know she is the conservative in this race who will stand with President Trump and fight for the America First agenda in the United States Senate,” said Katherine Thordahl, Communications Director for Julia Letlow for Louisiana. “Louisiana Republicans have made it clear they want strong conservative leadership they can trust, and Julia continues to build momentum with voters in every corner of the state.”
The poll also shows Letlow holding onto nearly all of her primary election support, retaining 96% of her voters from the first round of voting.
Letlow, the Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate in Louisiana, advanced to the runoff in first place after finishing nearly 20 points ahead of Fleming in the primary election.
