Endorsement highlights growing support for Trump-endorsed conservative across Louisiana
BATON ROUGE, LA — Today, Congresswoman Julia Letlow, the Trump-endorsed candidate for U.S. Senate in Louisiana, announced that retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Rob Maness has endorsed her campaign for the United States Senate.
Maness, a retired military officer and longtime conservative voice in Louisiana, praised Letlow’s conservative record, support for President Trump, and commitment to fighting for Louisiana families.
“After watching the debate Julia is the Fighter America needs in the US Senate,” said Maness. “That’s why President Donald Trump endorsed her, she’s a fighter and the debate proved it! I am PROUD to endorse Representative Julia Letlow for U.S. Senate in Louisiana.”
Letlow thanked Maness for his endorsement and years of service to the country and the state.
“I’m honored to have Colonel Rob Maness’ support,” said Rep. Letlow. “Rob has spent his life serving our country and fighting for conservative values, and I’m grateful to have him standing with our campaign. Louisiana deserves a senator who will stand with President Trump, fight for our families, secure our border, protect our values, and always put our state first. That’s exactly what I will do in the Senate.”
Rep. Letlow, a Monroe native, mother of two, and former educator, has represented Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District since 2021 and currently serves on the House Appropriations Committee and the Committee on Education and the Workforce. She is running as the Trump-endorsed conservative in the race, emphasizing her record of delivering for Louisiana and her commitment to the America First agenda.
This endorsement builds on the campaign’s growing momentum as it continues to earn support from conservative leaders, grassroots organizations, and voters across Louisiana ahead of the May 16 Republican primary.
