Letlow’s Ballot Score Continues to Rise While Cassidy and Fleming Falter
BATON ROUGE, LA — A new Rigamer poll shows Congresswoman Julia Letlow pulling away from the field and solidifying her position as the clear frontrunner in Louisiana’s Republican primary for the United States Senate, while support for Senator Bill Cassidy continues to erode and Fleming collapses as voters learn he is employed by DC lobbying firm while also serving as state treasurer.
The survey, conducted April 28–30, shows Letlow surging to 32.5 percent. At the same time, both Cassidy and John Fleming have lost ground, with Fleming at 21.2 percent and Cassidy falling to 20.5 percent.
As voters make their decisions, the race continues to move in Letlow’s direction.
The poll also highlights the depth of Cassidy’s vulnerability. In a head-to-head runoff, Letlow defeats Cassidy by more than 22 points, 50.5 percent to 28.3 percent.
Letlow also leads Fleming in a head-to-head runoff by a wide margin, 42.3 percent to 30.7 percent, further demonstrating her strength as the candidate best positioned to unite Republican voters and win.
“This is a clear sign that Louisiana Republicans are ready for new leadership,” said Congresswoman Julia Letlow. “They want a conservative senator who will stand with President Trump, fight for our values, and never waver. That’s the message we are taking to every corner of this state, and we’re going to keep working every single day to earn every vote.”
“Momentum has been building for months, and it’s unmistakable,” said Katherine Thordahl, communications director for Letlow for Louisiana. “Voters continue to break Julia’s way because they trust her to stand with President Trump and deliver for Louisiana. At the same time, Bill Cassidy’s support continues to collapse under the weight of his record. This race is coming into focus, and Republican voters know exactly who they can count on.”
Letlow’s continued surge reflects a campaign with strong grassroots momentum, a proven record of delivering for Louisiana, and the trust of President Donald Trump.
With early voting underway, the contrast in this race is becoming clearer by the day, and Republican voters are rallying behind a candidate they trust to represent them and stand firm when it matters most.
